The Union LA x AJ4 Retro ‘Off Noir’ marks the continuation of the duo's highly sought-after AJ 1 collaboration from 2018. This updated rendition boasts a suede black upper complemented by corresponding black mesh on the toe box and blue mesh encircling the collar. Striking semi-translucent structural wings are affixed to molded red eyelets, aligning with the woven AJ tag atop the cushioned tongue and Nlke Air emblem on the heel. Drawing inspiration from an original Tinker Hatfield sketch of the AJ4, the TPU wings are solid, while the typically internal 'AIR JORDAN' tag on the tongue now outwardly displays, offering a distinctive appearance as if the tongue were folded over to reveal it. A 'UN/LA' tag on the side panel pays homage to Union's legacy, and a weathered midsole imparts a vintage allure.
